Ian Freeman V Ken Shamrock set for UCFC July 27th

After Ken Shamrock called Freeman out at BAMMA 12, there was a lot of speculation about whether the fight would happen after Freeman revealed that Shamrock was demanding 300 thousand dollars to fight. Of course, no promoter in the UK can afford that sort of sum, but there seems to have been some advances in negotiations as Freeman revealed on Facebook that the fight is on and will take place on July 27th in Doncaster on UCFC;
Well the news you’ve all been waiting for… Ian ‘The Machine’ Freeman vs Ken ‘The worlds most dangerous man’ Shamrock… IS ON! The show will be on the Ultimate Cage Fighting Championships on July 27th 2013 at the Doncaster Keepmoat Stadium… it will be for the “Legends World Title”. Time to settle this shit once and for all… let the battle begin!
The pair have a history, though, with the fight being scheduled two times previously, only for Shamrock to allegedly pull out. Finally the world gets to see the fight that never happened, albeit both fighters being past their prime. Many are saying they don’t want to see this happen, but one thing is for sure, Shamrock has got under Freeman’s skin a little, and i wouldn’t want to be on the opposite side of the cage come  July 27th.
