McLeman to now take on Scott Askham at BAMMA 12

After reporting last night that McLeman had stepped up to take on TUF veteran Bola Omoyele in a middleweight contest at BAMMA 12, things have changed.
It’s reported that Omoyele has suffered an arm injury, so now McLeman, who is 4-0 as a professional, fights out of MacMillan MMA and is currently ranked at 28 in the UK MMA rankings after defeating Sam Mensah at Ultimate Impact, will take on Scott Askham.
Askham, who was scheduled to take on Kevin Thompson, is ranked at 13th himself, is sitting on a 9-0 record after defeating Denniston Sutherland at Cage Warriors 50 in impressive fashion. He will be looking to add yet another win to his tally as he looks to progress into the top 10 in the UK.
Two undefeated fighters will lock horns on March 9th at the Metro Arena in Newcastle at BAMMA 12. No doubt ‘Mad Mac’ McLeman will be going into this as the underdog on paper, but he thrives off of it, and will come to fight. two middleweights will go to war and only one will be left standing.
