Graham Turner defends FW title against Fouad Mesdari – OnTop7 Main Event

On Top have tonight announced the main event to their 7th show, which will feature Scotland’s very own Graham “Afterburner” Turner, who will take on French fighter Fouad Mesdari for Turner’s featherweight title.

Coming into the fight on a 3 win streak, the Dinky Ninja will be looking to put on a show for his home fans at the Bellahouston Centre in Glasgow. Defeating the likes of Gianluca Scottoli and Nathan Beer at On Top and Cage Warriors respectively within his last three outings, he will be looking to take his win streak to four with a win over a highly touted French fighter in Fouad Mesdari. Known for his KO power and with a record of 21-7, Turner is a highly experienced guy on the UK scene and the prospect of taking on international competition is great food for thought as a UKMMA fan!
Mesdari however is not just that guy who has been hired to lose to home favourite, he is a legit European opponent known for his slick ground skills with 5 of his 10 wins (10-2) coming by way of submission. He is no stranger to the On Top show, fighting at On Top 5 and defeating tough Dean Reilly with a TKO victory.
On Top never disappoint the fans in Scotland, and do NOT get the coverage they deserve, so if you are in the area, make sure you get down to watch a great night of fights! With the likes of James MacAlister, Paul McVeigh and many more rumoured to be on the card, it is seriously not to be missed!
On Top 7 takes place on the 23rd of February at the Bellahouston centre in Glasgow!
